Thank you for sharing your awesome knowledge and to let the public really know the real Truth about different Transmissions. I have read many reviews and Consumer reviews about Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks. I am So Greatful that you're website is sharing the real truth about each Transmission. What an eye opener. It's really sad the public Pays huge amounts of money to find the right Truck they can afford & in my opinion each one of these manufacturers build great products but Not all manufacturers have there Customers at heart & use them for there trail and errors at Huge Expenses. I am speaking for myself as one Customer. I have this awesome Ford F-350 7.3L Diesel Engine 4x4 SRW Pickup but it's 4R100 Automatic Transmission absolutely Sucks. I have owned my Truck for 12 years and now I am having to replace the Transmission for a 3rd time in only 210k miles. So I am looking for a REAL TRANSMISSION that can handle the 7.3L Diesel Motor. Yes, Ford and others have Upgraded Transmissions just for the public to once again having a shell out Thousands of Dollars extra, for something that I thought, i was buying the 1st time around. So instead of paying for another Transmission that I hope will last or hold up, I have been researching about the Allison Automatic Transmission swap But it all boils down to Cost again. I have spent Thousands & Thousands of dollars for 2 Transmissions, I am Disabled and I can't afford to Spend Thousands & Thousands of dollars every several years just for another Transmission. So I am seriously considering swapping the 4R100 Automatic Transmission with the Automatic Allison Transmission. But I also need to know does the Allison already come with a Heavy Duty Torqnverter and do i need an updated Transmission Cooler? Thank you. Sincerely, Chris.
