INSTALL GUIDE

• When using Billet flex-plate DO NOT use factory spacer
• Red loc-tite on converter and flex-plate bolts
• Please attach serial number somewhere on your customers invoice – serial number for the trans is the invoice number that we give you. This will help us quickly identify the build in our system in case of warranty issues with the transmission
• Complete all break in procedure forms and warranty forms and either email them to [email protected] or drop them off at our shop to be filed away
• Completing all warranty forms and returning them to Tier One is the responsibility of the installer. Warranty forms not completed/returned within a timely manner will void the warranty.

LINE PRESSURE GUIDES

These numbers are needed for warranty info!

47/48RE – Line pressure tested/recorded at idle-max line past 50% throttle to 4th gear-max line for lockup. Installer must ensure TV cable is adjusted properly if transmission is equipped with one (vehicles before 2005). Dyno tested VB specs are on invoice, these numbers should be similar to the numbers you get while doing the manual line pressure test.

68RFE – Max line pressure during road test – High pressure VB need to be at 225psi, Stock VB are 160psi, record line in reverse as well while brake boosting. Clutch volume fill index for LR, 2C, 4C, OD, and UD.

A1000 – Line pressure tested/recorded at idle, max line past 50% throttle max line for lockup, record line in reverse as well while brake boosting.

E40D, 4R100, 5R100 – Line pressure tested/recorded at idle, max line past 50% throttle max line for lockup, record line in reverse as well while brake boosting.

6R140 – Requires strategy relearn for valve body – code for strategy relearn is on the invoice.
