Tier One Transmission's Shipping Policy

Tier One offers shipping for all of the product sold on our site and for our built transmissions and transmission parts. Some items are shipped for free, while others will have additional shipping charges. Free Shipping only applies to the lower 48 states/Continental United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, or other territories will incur additional charges. We only offer free shipping on standard ground shipping. Expedited shipping will incur additional charges. For oversized items that require freight shipping, please see our freight shipping policy.

Currently, we only offer international orders through our site to Canada and Mexico. If you're overseas and are interested in our parts and accessories, please contact us directly for a quote. International orders may be subject to additional duties and taxes that you and you alone will be responsible for.

Turnaround Time

In general, in-stock items will ship withing 1-2 business days after receiving an order. However, order fulfillment is complex, and Tier One cannot strictly guarantee a specific timeline, and shipping timelines can change at any time. Some orders may get flagged for security reasons, having incorrect information, address problems, and other potential issues. In the case of flagged orders, your shipment may be delayed.

For items that are out of stock, available for backorders, or are shipping from manufacturers, the shipping estimations on the product pages are estimates only. We here at Tier One do our best to keep up with potential availability and shipping timeline, but unforeseen circumstances with our various manufacturers and distributors can cause those timelines to be inaccurate. If you feel like your order is unduly delayed, please contact Tier One for more information.

Shipping Transit Times

Delivery times depend entirely on your location and your proximity to both Tier One or one of our outlying warehouses. In general, standard ground shipping will deliver products in 3-5 business days. Expedited shipping is also available on in-stock products only. Drop-shipped, backordered, and pre-order products will ship out when they become available. All availability dates are estimates only and are subject to change at any time. Shipping cutoff times for the day are 2PM EST/11AM PST. After that point, your shipping times will be bumped back by one business day.

When selecting your shipping method or a form of expedited shipping, please keep in mind that all estimates are in business days. Most shipping carriers do not ship on the weekends or holidays, so please factor in additional time before making appoints for installs or scheduling potential rentals. Tier One ships via UPS, however, drop-shipped or backordered products may ship using other carriers. In general, UPS shipping times for their methods are below:

• UPS Next Day Air: delivered in 1 business day
• UPS 2nd Day Air: delivered within 2 business days
• UPS 3-Day Service: delivered within 3 business days
• UPS Ground: delivered with 3-5 business days

If you ship to an apartment, townhome, duplex, gated neighborhood, or other address that has communal shipping or receiving locations, you do so at your own risk. Tier One is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Out of Stock Products

If you place an order for a product that's labeled as "Out of Stock", "On Order", "Available for Pre-Order", or "Call for Availability", that order will ship once the product becomes available. Tier One reserves the right to ship your order into multiple shipments without advanced noticed, depending on availability and other factors. If you wish to split your order voluntarily due to availability issues or other factors, please contact Tier One directly.

Billing & Shipping Addresses

If you're shipping an order that's going to a different address than your billing address, please keep in mind that your order may be flagged by our fraud protection and may require additional identify verification in order to be processed. This additional verification may result in delays for your shipment. Please factor in extra time beyond our on-page estimates if you're shipping to a different address than your billing address.

Tier One will not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Shipments

If your shipment is damaged, lost, or stolen in transit, please contact Tier One immediately. For damaged or destroyed items, please include photos of the packaging and the damaged items. Please keep all boxes and packaging material that was included in the shipment. In order to process a damage claim, Tier One will need the original damaged products and packaging materials, otherwise, your damage claim may be denied. All damaged parts must be reported within 5 Business Days of delivery.

Tracking Numbers

Tracking numbers will generally be provided once your order has been fully processed and shipped. Please keep in mind that some drop-shipped or backordered items may see a delay in receipt of tracking numbers from the manufacturer. While we do try to mitigate this, sometimes tracking delays are unavoidable. If you placed an order that has shipped, but you have not received a tracking number, please contact Tier One directly.

By visiting or purchasing from Tier One, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions, including those set forth on this page. Any revisions to our Shipping Policies will be posted on this page and any other page we deem necessary to inform our users of any changes made. We reserve the right to modify our Shipping Policies at any time. If you chose to use a different freight company, we will not honor any warranties or damages caused thereby. Your continued use of the Site following any policy revisions constitutes your acceptance of and agreement with the changes made.
