The Tier One Difference: Standard on Stage 2+ Builds
The 6.7L Cummins in your 2019-2024 Ram puts out massive torque. While a stock plate works for standard applications, it can flex under the high line pressure of tuned or heavy-towing trucks. That is why we upgrade to this exact Billet Channel Plate in every Tier One Stage 2 and up build. It provides the rigidity needed to prevent cross-leaks and ensure our high-performance transmissions hold pressure and shift firmly.

The Problem: Stock Flex & Cross-Leaks

The factory channel plate is made of thin, cast metal. Under aggressive tuning or high line pressure, this stock plate warps and flexes. This flexing creates gaps that allow transmission fluid to bleed between circuits.

The Result: These "cross-leaks" confuse the computer and drop holding pressure, leading to:

P0871 Trouble Code: The most common sign of fluid bypassing the solenoid switch valve.
Burnt OD Clutches: Low pressure leads to slipping and failure.
Erratic Shifting: The computer gets confused by pressure leaks, causing "hunting" for gears.

The Solution: Billet Precision & Rigidity

Our Billet Channel Plate is the permanent fix for channel plate flexing. CNC-machined from a solid slab of 6061 Billet Aluminum, it is nearly 3x thicker than stock and machined to .0003" flatness. This rigidity forces the accumulator pistons and valves to seal correctly, allowing you to run higher line pressure (up to 300+ PSI) without blowing out gaskets.
