Tier One's Deferred Core Charge Program - Save Money Up Front!

Tier One offers a deferred core return program, where you won't be charged up front for Tier One's transmission, valve body, or torque converter core returns! Our deferred core return program lets you save a ton of money up front on a Tier One built transmission, Tier One high-pressure valve body, or any other Tier One Transmissions branded product that requires a core return. All you have to do is select "Tier One's Deferred Core Charge" on our "Core Charge" drop-down menu when you check out, create an account on our site, and save your credit card information when you check out. You'll then be sent a DocuSign link with an agreement for our deferred core process.

After you send in your core, Tier One will carefully inspect it for damage or potential issues. If your core is in a good enough condition to be reused by our team, you will not be charged any additional core fees. If the core is not in adequate condition, Tier One will charge either a full or partial core charge up to the amount indicated by our standard core fee on that particular product. You will be told in advance before your card is charged, and we will provide photographic evidence of the issues with you core before your card is ran.

To opt-in to our Deferred Core Program, you will need to pay by credit or debit card. Payments made by check, cash, cashier's check, money order, or EBT cannot apply for our deferred core charge program.

Please allow for up to 30 days for your core tear down and a decision to be made about the suitability of your core.

If your core is not returned within 30 days, your card WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL CORE CHARGE AMOUNT. Please send your core back in a timely manner.

Core Rejection/Partial Rejection Process

If during our teardown of your core we find issues that would warrant either a complete rejection or partial rejection of your core, Tier One will do the following:

1. Take photos of the damaged components of your stock core
2. Inform you about the issues we found with your core
3. Inform you that we will be charging a complete or partial core fee based on the damage/unsuitability of your core
4. Charge your card the amount calculated required for new core components

If your card on file is declined, for any reason, Tier One will reach out to for payment using a valid card or other form of payment. You will have 30 days to make that payment, or Tier One reserves the right to engage a collections agency to retrieve the pending amount.
