Even though the stock AS69RC transmission on your powerful 2013-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins 3500, 4500, or 5500 may be a bit more stout than the AS68s or the 68RFEs, when your rig is hitting enormous levels of power and torque, you're going to need something that can actually handle it. The Tier One Stage 2 AS69RC Transmission can hold a whopping 1000 horsepower, allowing you to throw big turbos, huge injectors, exhaust upgrades, and extremely powerful tuning at your 6.7L Cummins without your transmission letting you down. The Stage 2 AS69RC Transmission can handle tough applications like heavy towing, aggressive off-roading, sled-pulls, drag racing, and dyno days without breaking a sweat so that you can push your big Ram 6.7L Cummins build to the limit both on and off the road. This complete AS69RC transmission drops right in place of your Ram's factory AS69RC without the need for permanent modifications or custom tuning.

Each Stage 2 Transmission is a fully built AS69RC transmission that features an overhaul of just about all of the stock AS69RC's weak points so that you can stack serious levels of horsepower and torque onto your Ram 6.7L Cummins build. Starting outside of the transmission itself, the Stage 2 comes with a 6-disc billet torque converter that's far more resistant to warping and burn-up than stock, while being able to handle far higher levels of horsepower and torque. Each transmission comes standard with a performance valve body that can handle high line pressures and extreme loads to reliably deliver fluid throughout the transmission. The Stage 2 AS69RC transmission comes with a new friction module with GPZ clutches that have higher-quality friction materials than stock to handle higher heat and power levels. Tier One includes a billet K2 clutch hub made from 4140 billet steel that can handle high horsepower and load much more effectively than the stamped steel factory clutch hub. Likewise, we also include a billet K3 clutch drum made from 1040 billet steel that's 40% thicker than stock and is far more resistant to grooving than stock. Each Stage 2 transmission comes standard with billet aluminum K3 and K2 pistons that can handle the power your 6.7L Cummins can dish out. Tier One includes a cast aluminum, deep transmission pan with more fluid capacity than stock to help improve cooling and keep running temperatures down, even during aggressive driving and heavy towing. The Stage 2 transmission is topped off with a high-performance rebuild kit that includes new gaskets and seals before being air-checked for potential leaks.
Fully Overhauled AS69RC Transmission for Excellent Reliability
During our build of your AS69RC Stage 2 transmission, we here at Tier One go over every millimeter of its internal components to guarantee excellent function and reliability. All parts are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new AS69RC transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission's planetary gear train for damage before fully speccing all bearings and washers for endplay. The original transmission pump is flat-sanded and then checked for proper clearances. The valve body is likewise flat-sanded and its solenoids thoroughly inspected for better than OEM function, and we replace the OEM accumulator plate to avoid potential codes and issues down the road. The overhaul kit includes new GPZ clutches, seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it's installed on your Ram 2500 or Ram 3500.
Thorough Testing of the Valve Body and Entire Transmission Before Shipping
We here at Tier One take pride in every built AS69RC transmission we manufacture for the Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks. To make sure that you get a transmission that's as tough as your truck, Tier One puts both the valve bodies and the entire assembled transmission through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your 6.7L Cummins diesel. Once the valve body has been assembled, it's air-checked for leaks before being put on our in-house valve body dyno to ensure proper fluid flow and pressure management. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before putting the entire transmission on our in-house transmission dyno to ensure proper operation, performance, and power-holding.
