Allison 1000 Billet Input Shafts
The stock input shaft is a fairly well known weak point on the Allison transmissions, and when you start to add some serious power or use a triple-disc torque converter for towing, the stock cast steel input shaft on your Duramax's Allison can crack, spiral fracture, strip its splines, or even break completely. Tier One's selection of Allison billet input shafts are far stronger than the cast steel input shafts, allowing you to use aggressive tuning, big turbos, oversized injectors, and whatever else you choose to throw on your tough HD Silverado or HD Sierra Duramax build. Each of these input shafts are CNC-machined out of various types of billet steel, giving them the torsional strength to handle big power and the huge forces of multi-disc torque converters locking up.
