46RH VALVE BODY

The valve body controls gear selection, line pressure (clamping force), line rise (meeting torque demand), converter mode, flow and pressure, along with shift timing and quality. SunCoast valve bodies address all of these areas to enhance transmission operation and durability. The SunCoast valve bodies allow for crisper shifts, enhanced converter operation, cooler operating temperatures, and increased lube flow. Full time converter feed assures lube flow while in the park position and under high throttle conditions. Torque converter clutch lockup can be achieved in all forward gears when used in conjunction with a controller. This feature is desirable for optimum exhaust brake operation. SunCoast offers a choice of valve body calibrations to fit any application.

• 1989-1990 Ram 3500 5.9L Cummins with 46RH transmission

For 46RH transmissions only: this valve body will only fit Ram 5.9L Cummins trucks with 46RH transmissions. Please verify your truck's transmission type before ordering.

Electronics not included: this valve body does not come with any electronics and will require you to transfer over your OEM electronics.

Core charge: this valve body carries with it a core charge. That core charge will be refunded back to you once SunCoast receives your stock valve body, inspects its, and finds it acceptable.
