If your awesome 2011-2014 F250 or F350 6.7L Powerstroke is destined for the track, dyno competition, or sled pull, you're going to need a 6R140 transmission that's built to handle ludicrous levels of power in some of the toughest truck applications on the planet. The Tier One Competition 6R140 Transmission can handle over 1000 horsepower and was specifically designed for hard drag racing, dyno days, or competitive sled pulling use. The Tier One Competition 6R140 Transmission comes with a ton of upgraded components that allow it to hold a tremendous amount of power and help your 6.7L Powerstroke build put it all to the ground. Despite it's huge power-holding potential, the Tier One Competition 6R140 transmission is a drop-in replacement for your Super Duty's stock transmission and will let you hit the sled pull, drag strip, or dyno day even without you needing to worry about a transmission failure ruining your good time.

The 6R140 Competition Transmission comes with a ton of performance upgrades and immensely strong transmission parts that let it hold big-time power for crushing your opponents. The Tier One Competition Transmission comes standard with a SunCoast Quad-Disc torque converter that's almost impervious to cracking and warping while being able to both handle and deliver huge levels of power to the transmission itself. Each 6R140 Competition Transmission comes standard with a welded input shaft that's resistant to cracking which prevents leaks that can end up roasting your clutches. The Competition Transmission is also fitted with a 300M billet steel intermediate shaft that can handle the immense forces from huge power and hard launches. Tier One outfits each Competition 6R140 transmission with high-performance clutches with improved friction material, and we increase the clutch count (including a whopping 11 overdrive clutches) so that the transmission can more reliably hold the huge amount of horsepower and torque your truck will put down at the track or on the dyno. The Competition Transmission includes a billet overdrive piston that can handle huge load form high-performance, competition applications. Tier One includes a new OEM valve body and a new OEM transmission pump to give you excellent reliability. The Competition 6R140 transmission comes standard with a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has more fluid capacity than stock and provides improved cooling over stock. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness and is topped off new gaskets and seals before being air-checked for potential leaks.
Fully Overhauled Ford 6R140 Transmission for Excellent Reliability and Performance
During Tier One’s build of your 6R140 Competition Transmission, we go over every inch of its internal components to guarantee you excellent functionality, great shifting, and awesome reliability. All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 6R140 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The valve body is inspected and its solenoids are tested for better-than-OEM function. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness to help mitigate potential wiring issues. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford Super Duty F250 or F350 truck.

After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before a final inspection and shipping out.

Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes, and is required for Tier One to honor your warranty:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
Transmission Break-in: in order to maintain your warranty, this transmission requires a 300-mile break-in and a 100-mile relearn. Please check out
