If you're really stacking the horsepower and torque onto your awesome 7.3L Powerstroke or Triton V10 Super Duty for use in competition applications, you're going to need a transmission that doesn't just barely survive, but one that's going to let you run your truck hard for years to come. The Tier One Competition 4R100 Transmission was designed specifically for aggressive use out on the drag strip, sled pull, or dyno day on 1999-2002 F250 and F350s that are throwing down a whole ton of horsepower and torque. The Tier One 4R100 Competition Transmission can handle up to 750 crankshaft horsepower, which lets you go big with your turbos, injectors, exhaust system, nitrous or water-meth injection, and just about whatever other bolt-on performance part you can find. The Tier One Competition 4R100 Transmission is perfect for trucks that see frequent track and sled pull use, and need a transmission that can handle the strain while still being drivable out on the street or the trail. The Competition Transmission is 100% complete and drops right into place of your truck's stock 4R100 transmission without the need for permanent modifications or tuning.

Every Tier One Competition Transmission features a bunch of extremely high-strength billet components that allow your Super Duty to tackle tough competition uses at extremely high levels of power without letting you down. The Competition 4R100 Transmission starts out with a billet triple disc torque converter that's far more resistant to warping and cracking under load than stock and whose increased disc surface area can hold and handle more power. The torque converter feeds into a billet input shaft made out of billet AERMET steel that's even stronger than standard 300M billet input shafts so that you can smash the throttle on your build Super Duty at the track without needing to worry about an input shaft failure. The transmission also comes with a 300M billet steel intermediate shaft that can handle the strain of shifting at increased power levels. Each 4R100 Competition Transmission comes with a 4140 billet steel forward drum that reduces the chance of spline failure, clutch gouging, and snap ring blowout under huge levels of load. The Competition Transmission is built around a high-pressure Tier One valve body that's fitted with a TransGo Tugger Kit which features a new calibration plate, springs, valves, snap rings, and seals that all work together to deliver accurate shifting and improved fluid flow to the transmission's critical components when under load. Tier One upgrades the Competition transmission clutches to performance HD clutches with improved friction materials for better power-holding and performance under load. Each Competition transmission receives a master overhaul kit with new seals, gaskets, O-rings, and hardware to ensure that all the transmission's potentially wearable parts are replaced for ultimate reliability. To prevent the common center support failure in the stock 4R100, Tier One installs a new center support with custom machining and a new center support snap ring that prevents the support from getting beaten to death against the transmission's internal lugs. Every Competition 4R100 transmission comes with new rear, intermediate, and overdrive Sprag clutches, as well as a new intermediate band to further improve long-term reliability. To fix a common source of leaks, Tier One includes an ATS Billet Dipstick tube that features a two-piece billet aluminum design with built-in seals. The 4R100 Competition Transmission is rounded out by a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has more fluid capacity than stock and improves cooling over the stock pan, as well as an OE-style fluid filter.

All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 4R100 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford Super Duty F250 or F350 truck.

To make sure you get a built 4R110 transmission that’s as tough as your truck, Tier One puts the valve bodies and entire assembled transmissions through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your 7.3L Powerstroke diesel or Triton V10. All valve body solenoids are carefully tested to ensure flawless operation. After assembly of the valve body, it goes through rigorous dyno-testing to ensure proper fluid flow, line pressures, and solenoid operation. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before a final inspection and shipping out.

- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
