48RE Torque Converters

The stock torque converter on the 48RE transmissions isn't known for its reliability even at stock power levels, but they can really let you down when you start to add some serious horsepower and torque to your Ram. Tier One's performance 48RE torque converters are built tougher than stock so that you can drop aggressive tuning and awesome performance parts onto your Ram without your torque converter letting you down. Many of these torque converters feature billet constructions and are available in single-disc, multi-disc, and triple-disc designs that can hold huge power with smooth engagement and lockup, even when your truck is throwing down absolutely enormous levels of power.
