48RE Transmission Billet Pistons

The stock pistons inside your Ram's 48RE transmission are crucial for actuating clutches and other components within the 48RE that allows it to both up and downshift. However, these pistons are made out of fairly frail cast materials, and they can fracture, warp, or even completely break when you start adding serious levels of horsepower and torque to your Ram 5.9L Cummins build. Tier One's selection of 48RE billet pistons are far stronger than stock, allowing you to take your Ram 5.9L Cummins build to the next level. Each of these pistons is CNC-machined out of either billet aluminum or billet steel (depending on location and purpose), and are far less likely to fail when put under serious levels of load.
