The Deep Pan
Number of Bolts: 16 bolts (18 holes, 16 bolt holes, and 2 holes to locate gasket)
Volume: 4 quarts over stock
Dimensions: At deepest area, PML pan is 7 inches; stock pan is 4.3 inches
This new deep pan is a designed and manufactured 10L1000 Allison transmission pan for 2020 and newer Duramax trucks. The design focuses on maintaining the general shape of the OEM pan while adding extra capacity and a finned bottom for heat dissipation.

For 4WD trucks only: this transmission will only fit trucks with 4-wheel drive (4WD). A version meant for 2-wheel drive (2WD) models is also available.
Rated for up to 550 horsepower: this transmission is rated for up to 550 crankshaft horsepower and is meant for trucks with mild modifications and tuning or trucks that are towing heavy near stock power levels. If your truck is near or at the 550 horsepower mark and towing heavy, we strongly recommend jumping up to the SunCoast Category 2 transmission.
Torque Converter not included: this transmission does not come with a torque converter. A performance torque converter is strongly recommended. Check out our
Duramax 10L1000 torque converters.
For 2020-2025 Silverado & Sierra 2500 & 3500 Only: this transmission will only fit 2020-2025 Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks that came from the factory with 10L1000 automatic transmissions.
Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
Core charge: this transmission includes a $3500.00 core charge that will be refunded once SunCoast receives your stock transmission, inspects it, and finds it acceptable condition.
