If you're going to take your awesome Silverado or Sierra 2500 or 3500 to the next level of power and performance, you're going to need a transmission that can actually handle the forces thrown down by hot performance tuning and big-time performance modifications. The Tier One Stage 2 Allison 10L1000 transmission can hold up to 750 crankshaft horsepower, letting you build out a seriously powerful Duramax or gas HD truck without needing to worry about your transmission letting you down. Tier One's Stage 2 10L1000 transmission is perfect for 2500 or 3500 Sierra and Silverado builds that are going for big power, tow extremely heavy, rip around out on the trail, or even tear it up at the track or sled pull. Each Tier One Stage 2 10L1000 uses a combination of both high-performance aftermarket components and redesigned OEM parts to both fix common 10L1000 issues while letting the transmission hold far more horsepower and torque than stock. This transmission comes 100% complete and is a drop-in replacement for your Silverado or Sierra's stock transmission that doesn't require any permanent modifications or additional hardware.

The Stage 2 10L1000 transmission was designed from the ground up to hold and put down more power than stock, while also being far more reliable in aggressive truck applications. The Stage 2 transmission comes standard with a SunCoast Elite Performance torque converter that features a billet design with a billet stator that allows it handle more power than stock while being far less prone to burn-up, warping, and cracking when put under immense levels of load. Every Stage 2 10L1000 transmission includes an expanded-capacity E-clutch drum that holds more clutches than the stock drum to improve power-holding and clamping force. Tier One includes a complete performance clutch kit with GPZ clutches that feature a more aggressive friction material than the stock clutches. We throw in enough clutches for both the new E-drum, as well as extra clutches for the F-drum for a further increase in clutch surface area and clamping force. To further improve reliability at high power levels, we include both a high-pressure valve body and a high-pressure bump which increases overall line pressures. The valve body also features revised fluid circuits to reduce the amount of pressure required to engage the regulator valves, while increasing pressure to the lubrication circuit to improve fluid flow throughout the transmission. To further improve reliability, we install an improved OEM CDF drum and a new OEM F-clutch drum, both of whose earlier designs caused issues. The transmission is rounded out with a deep cast aluminum transmission pan that has an increased fluid capacity over stock and built-in cooling fins to help keep transmission temperatures under control.

During Tier One’s build of your 10L1000 Towing Transmission, we go over every inch of its internal components to guarantee you excellent functionality, great shifting, and awesome reliability. All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 10L1000 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Silverado or Sierra HD truck.
Thorough Testing of the Valve Body and Entire Transmission Before Shipping
We here at Tier One take pride in every built Allison 10L1000 transmission we manufacture for the GM 2500 & 3500 trucks. To make sure you get a built 10L1000 transmission that’s as tough as your truck, Tier One puts the valve bodies and entire assembled transmissions through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your Silverado or Sierra truck. All valve body solenoids are carefully tested to ensure flawless operation. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before a final inspection and shipping out.

Requires Reprogramming & Relearn: installation of this transmission will require reprogramming at a certified GM service center, as well as a relearn period.

Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes, and is required for Tier One to honor your warranty:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
