Whether you're taking the power and torque on your Silverado or Sierra HD truck up a notch, or you're planning for some serious towing or aggressive off-road driving, swapping out your stock 10L1000 transmission for Tier One's Stage 1 10L1000 built transmission is a great idea. The OEM 10L1000 has more than a few points of failure that can start to rear their ugly heads when you stack on some power, rip your truck down tough trails, or tow and haul extremely heavy loads. The Tier One Stage 1 10L1000 can handle up to 550 crankshaft horsepower and features a bunch of reliability improvements that let you push your big Silverado or Sierra 2500 or 3500 incredibly hard both on and off-road. Our Stage 1 10L1000 is perfect for towing big trailers, toy haulers, fifth wheels, boats, and whatever else you need without needing to worry about your transmission letting you down. The Tier One Stage 1 Allison 10L1000 transmission is perfect for Duramax trucks running mild tuning or gas trucks with tuning and bolt-on parts. Each transmission is 100% complete and drops right into place of your Silverado or Sierra's stock transmission without the need for any permanent modifications or additional hardware.

The Tier One Stage 1 10L1000 Allison transmission uses both internal performance upgrades and revised OEM components to give your truck both increased power-holding and the reliability it needs to get the job done. At the front of each transmission is a billet triple-disc torque converter that's fr more resistant to warping, cracking, and burn-up than the factory torque converter, all while featuring 33% more apply area than the stock torque converter. The Stage 1 transmission also includes a SunCoast Extra-Capacity E-Clutch Drum that holds more clutches than stock to improve clamping force and power-holding. We include a complete performance overhaul kit with performance GPZ clutches that have a more aggressive friction material than stock. The overhaul kit comes with all the clutches necessary for the increased capacity E drum, as well as additional F-drum clutches to further improve power-holding capability. The valve body of each Stage 1 transmission is fitted with both Sonnax Solenoid Clips and Inserts that prevent the solenoids from getting misaligned or causing excessive wear on the valve body itself. To improve the long-term reliability of the transmission, Tier One includes both a revised OEM CDF drum and a new F-clutch drum that don't have the same issues as earlier designs. Every 10L1000 Stage 1 transmission comes standard with a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has more fluid capacity than stock and built-in cooling fins to keep your truck's transmission temperatures under control. The transmission gets a full set of new seals and gaskets before being air-checked for potential leaks.

All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 10L1000 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Silverado or Sierra HD truck.

To make sure you get a built 10L1000 transmission that’s as tough as your truck, Tier One puts the valve bodies and entire assembled transmissions through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your Silverado or Sierra truck. All valve body solenoids are carefully tested to ensure flawless operation. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before a final inspection and shipping out.
