The stock valve body on the Allison 10L1000 transmission is well-known to have more than a few reliability quirks that can lead to poor shifting, premature clutch wear, strange transmission behaviors, or even outright failures of your 10-speed Allison's critical parts and components. That's why SunCoast put together their Pro-Loc 10L1000 Tow & Haul valve body kit. The SunCoast 10L1000 towing valve body kit includes a new 10L1000 valve body and new high-pressure transmission pump that give you a one-two combo for improving your Allison 10L1000's reliability and power-holding. The Pro-Loc valve body kit provides a hug bump in line pressure, helping to improve shifting feel, clutch pack engagement, and lubrication to all of your 10L1000's critical transmission components.
The Pro-Loc valve body also features a bunch of reliability upgrades to eliminate common failure points on the stock 10L1000 valve body and help avoid solenoid movement, unusual wear, and other issues that can lead to strange shifting behavior, hard shifts, or a lack of engagement. The Pro-Loc valve body and pump drops right into place of the stock valve body, making it a fairly hassle-free upgrade for basically any 10L1000 build, and no additional programming is required.
