The factory transmission on your 2020-2024 Silverado or Sierra 2500 or 3500 Duramax L5P's 10L1000 transmission does the job of holding transmission fluid in one place, but that's basically all it does. An aftermarket 10L1000 transmission pan from Tier One gives you and your truck increased fluid capacity, improved durability, and lower temperatures all in an easily-installed package. These deep transmission pans are almost all made out cast aluminum which radiates heat more effectively than the stock pan, and many of these pans come with additional fins for even more effective cooling capability. The majority of these pans feature deep designs that increase fluid capacity to help improve lubrication and further increase cooling capability.
