The stock AS69RC may be considered an upgrade for the 2019-2024 Ram 3500, 4500, and 550 6.7L Cummins trucks over the base 2500's 68RFE, but HD Rams and Dually Rams that are consistently towing heavy may find that the stock AS69RC may not be up to the task. Tier One's AS69RC built HD Towing Transmission features several improvements over the stock AS69RC that gives it far better reliability and durability when consistently towing and hauling with your big Cummins truck. This complete Dodge Ram transmission drops right into place of the factory transmission and features new components that let you tow and haul at the edge of your GVWR or GCWR without a transmission failure ruining your trip. While this version of Tier One's built AS69RC transmission doesn't hold more power than stock, it comes packed with just enough upgrades to get your 6.7 Cummins Ram 3500, 4500, or 5500 towing far more reliably to give you some peace of mind when pulling your travel trailer, 5th wheel, or whatever else you have in mind.

Tier One builds each of our AS69RC HD Towing Transmissions with all the components necessary to get your Cummins tow rig the reliability it needs to pull and haul all of your gear. The HD Tow AS69RC transmission comes with a heavy-duty torque converter that's less prone to case warping and burn up than the factory torque converter during heavy towing applications. Each HD Tow Transmission gets a Tier One Performance Valve Body that can handle higher line pressures and load than stock. The AS69RC Towing Transmission gets new sets of friction modules to ensure you get reliable shifting for your Ram 6.7L Cummins. A deep transmission pan with more fluid capacity is likewise included to help keep operating temperatures lower when you're pulling heavy loads. The transmission is topped off with an overhaul kit with new gaskets and seals before being air-checked for potential leaks.
Fully Overhauled AS69RC Transmission for Excellent Reliability
During our build of your AS69RC HD Towing transmission, we here at Tier One go over every millimeter of its internal components to guarantee excellent function and reliability. All parts are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new AS69RC transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission's planetary gear train for damage before fully speccing all bearings and washers for endplay. The original transmission pump is flat-sanded and then checked for proper clearances. The valve body is likewise flat-sanded and its solenoids thoroughly inspected for better than OEM function, and we replace the OEM accumulator plate to avoid potential codes and issues down the road. The overhaul kit includes new GPZ clutches, seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it's installed on your Ram 2500 or Ram 3500.
Thorough Testing of the Valve Body and Entire Transmission Before Shipping
We here at Tier One take pride in every built AS69RC transmission we manufacture for the Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks. To make sure that you get a transmission that's as tough as your truck, Tier One puts both the valve bodies and the entire assembled transmission through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your 6.7L Cummins diesel. Once the valve body has been assembled, it's air-checked for leaks before being put on our in-house valve body dyno to ensure proper fluid flow and pressure management. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before putting the entire transmission on our in-house transmission dyno to ensure proper operation, performance, and power-holding.

Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes, and is required for Tier One to honor your warranty:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
