The Tier One HD 10R80 Transmission for 2018-2024 Mustangs gives your Pony the reliability it truly deserves with parts and components that fix common 10R80 issues so that you can have some fun with your Mustang at or slightly above factory power levels from bolt on parts and tuning. Our HD 10R80 Transmission is perfect for automatic Mustangs that have issues with their current OEM 10R80 transmission and are tired of putting up with dealership excuses or have suffered a critical transmission failure and need a new transmission that's far more reliable than stock. The Tier One 10R80 Transmission for the Ford Mustangs uses a combination of aftermarket upgrades, new OEM components, and some custom modifications by our expert transmission technicians that all work together to give your Pony a 10R80 transmission that will last a lifetime, even if you're pushing it hard. Tier One builds each Mustang 10R80 transmission around an OEM valve body fitted with a RatioTek Trans Tuner Kit that includes new springs and hardware which improve oil flow to components that are under-lubricated when the transmission is put under load. Tier One includes a new OEM torque converter to replace your stock torque converter, as well as a new OEM P4 gear hub and new OE-style pump bushing to maximize reliability. We here at Tier One install a new OEM CDF drum with Ford's updated design that includes a step on the outer drum which helps prevent movement of the drum under load, which can also lead to a lack of lubrication. To further improve lubrication, Tier One drills three small holes in the P3 carrier which allows for improved oil flow into the P3 clutches all without compromising the strength of the carrier itself. Rounding out the HD 10R80 Transmission, Tier One installs new OE-style clutches and a new OEM transmission filter to replace the transmission's wearable components before it ships out.

All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 10R80 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford Mustang.
