Your 6.7L Powerstroke F250 or F350 is hungry for more power, and there's a ton of Powerstroke performance parts, upgrades, and tuning that can make it happen. However, you're going to need a transmission that can handle it all. Tier One's Stage 2 Ford 6R140 transmission can handle a whopping 800 horsepower, with lets you stack some seriously powerful performance upgrades onto your 2017-2019 F250 or F350 build without you needing to worry about your transmission letting you down. The Tier One Stage 2 6R140 transmission comes with a ton of upgrades that allow it to handle a bunch more power than stock and survive extremely aggressive applications both on and off the road. The Stage 2 6R140 Transmission comes with a billet triple-disc torque converter that can handle much more power than stock and resists warping and cracking when you stack on the power. The torque converter feeds power into a welded input shaft that's much more resistant to cracking than stock which prevents potential leaks that can fry the transmission's clutches. For the clutches themselves, Tier One includes a full set of high-performance clutches with each Stage 2 transmission, as well as a higher clutch count so that the transmission can handle far more power and get the power to the ground more effectively than the factory 6R140 transmission. Each 6R140 Stage 2 Transmission has a billet overdrive piston that's far stronger than stock so that it can survive high power and hard shifting. The Stage 2 Transmission comes with a new Ford OEM valve body and new Ford OEM transmission pump to provide excellent levels of reliability. Every Tier One Stage 2 transmission includes a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has more fluid capacity than stock and provides better cooling than the stock pan. The Stage 2 transmission is topped off with new gaskets and seals before being air-checked for potential leaks.

During Tier One’s build of your 6R140 Stage 2 Transmission, we go over every inch of its internal components to guarantee you excellent functionality, great shifting, and awesome reliability. All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 6R140 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The valve body is inspected and its solenoids are tested for better-than-OEM function. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness to help mitigate potential wiring issues. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford Super Duty F250 or F350 truck.

Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes, and is required for Tier One to honor your warranty:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
Transmission Break-in: in order to maintain your warranty, this transmission requires a 300-mile break-in and a 100-mile relearn. Please check out
