The 6.7L Powerstroke V8 under the hood of your 2017-2019 F250 or F350 Super Duty is capable of making a ton more horsepower and torque with even the most basic of aftermarket tuning and bolt-on performance parts, but your truck's stock 6R140 transmission can struggle to hold it all and stay in one piece. Tier One's Stage 1 6R140 transmission can handle up to 600 horsepower, giving your 6.7L Powerstroke the ability to get some serious gains in horsepower and torque from aggressive Ford Powerstroke tuning, Powerstroke bolt-on performance upgrades, and even extra power from uprated stock replacement turbochargers. Each Tier One Stage 1 6R140 transmission for 6.7L Powerstroke trucks features new external and internal transmission parts that allow the transmission to more reliably handle big-time power, extremely heavy towing, aggressive off-roading, and even sled pulls than your factory 6R140 transmission. Tier One's Stage 1 6R140 transmission comes with all the parts and components required to both shore up the transmission to handle big power and fix common 6R140 issues to prevent failures down the road. Tier One includes a rebuilt, OE-style torque converter to provide you reliable operation, even at increased power levels. We also include a welded input shaft that prevents cracking at high power levels that can lead to leaks and roasted clutches. Speaking of clutches, the Stage 1 6R140 transmission has an increased clutch count over stock that gives it firm, put extremely positive shifting, as well as the power-holding your Powerstroke needs to stack on powerful performance mods. Each Stage 1 6R140 transmission gets a new OEM Ford valve body and OEM Ford transmission pump to ensure excellent long-term reliability. The Stage 1 Transmission comes with a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has more fluid capacity than stock to help keep your transmission temperatures down, even at high power levels or when towing heavy. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness and tops each transmission off with new gaskets and seals before air-checking the transmission for potential leaks.

During Tier One's build of your 6R140 Stage 1 Transmission, we go over every inch of its internal components to guarantee you excellent functionality, great shifting, and awesome reliability. All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 6R140 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission's planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The valve body is inspected and its solenoids are tested for better-than-OEM function. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness to help mitigate potential wiring issues. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it's installed on your Ford Super Duty F250 or F350 truck.

Recommended gearing: the following gearing is recommended for the following tire sizes, and is required for Tier One to honor your warranty:
- 35" Tire: 3.73 gears or higher
- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
- +38" Tire: 4.56 gears or higher
Transmission Break-in: in order to maintain your warranty, this transmission requires a 300-mile break-in and a 100-mile relearn. Please check out
