We here at Tier One offer both a 2007.5-2018 Ram 2500 & 3500 6.7L Cummins 68RFE HD Tow Transmission and a 2013-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins 3500, 4500, 5500 6.7L Cummins AS69RC HD Tow Transmission available that are fairly budget-friendly and come with just enough upgrades to fix some of the major reliability issues found in the 68RFE and AS69RC transmissions so that you can tow and haul without your Ram's transmission letting you down. Tier One's HD Tow transmissions are specifically designed to handle Rams at stock or near-stock power levels with reliable operation and excellent street drivability. However, if your Ram is using pretty aggressive tuning, turbo upgrades, and other parts that turn up the power, you're going to need a transmission that can handle it all.

2013-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins Stage 1 Transmissions

Tier One's Stage 1 transmissions take the upgrades up a notch, and are designed to hold more power than our HD tow transmission, while at the same time being able to handle heavy towing and aggressive off-roading. The 2007.5-2018 Ram 2500 & 3500 6.7L Cummins 68RFE Stage 1 Transmission and the 2013-2018 Ram 3500, 4500, 5500 6.7L Cummins AS69RC Stage 1 Transmission can handle up to 600 crankshaft horsepower, making them suitable for Ram 6.7L Cummins builds that have pretty aggressive tuning and bolt-on parts and trucks that are towing extremely heavy on a regular basis or ripping around off-road on big tires. The Stage 1 68RFE Transmission and the Stage 1 AS69RC Transmission feature both reliability upgrades and power-holding improvements that allow you to take your Ram to the next level. That being said, if your truck is rocking a big turbo or oversized injectors, the Stage 1 transmissions just won't be enough.

The Tier One Stage 2 68RFE Transmission is rated to handle up to 750 crankshaft horsepower, which makes it perfect for moderately built Ram 6.7L truck builds that are being used aggressively on the street, towing heavy, and even seeing occasional track and sled pull use. The Tier One Stage 2 AS69RC Transmission is rated to handle up to 1000 horsepower and is the highest stage of AS69RC we offer. The Stage 2 AS69RC is great of big turbo builds or even compound turbos, huge injectors, extremely aggressive tuning, upgraded CP4s or CP3 conversions, and a full set of bolt-on parts that can all work together to generate a whole ton of power and torque.

The Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks are capable of throwing down a ton of horsepower and torque, but most folks want a transmission that still drives pretty smooth on the street. The 2007.5-2018 Ram 2500 & 3500 6.7L Cummins Stage 3 68RFE Transmission is capable of holding a whole bunch of power, but it still manages to shift cleanly and operate fairly smooth while you rip your hyper-aggressive Ram 6.7L Cummins build around. The Stage 3 68RFE transmission can hold up to 900 crankshaft horsepower, allowing you to add extremely powerful tuning, big single turbos, massively oversized injectors, custom exhaust systems, and bolt-on components without the transmission failing when you need it most. The Stage 3 transmission is perfect for extremely heavy and consistent towing, hard off-roading, trips down to the sled pull, and even rips down the drag strip. While the Stage 3 transmission can't hold as much power as our Competition systems, it still shifts smoothly and cleanly enough to not ruin your Ram 6.7L Cummins' street ride.
