Tier One designed our Stage 1 10R80 Transmission from the ground up to handle a bunch of horsepower, all while fixing common 10R80 transmission issues that can leave you stranded or worse. The Tier One Stage 10R80 Transmission can handle up to 600HP, which lets you use aggressive custom tunes and even mild turbo upgrades on EcoBoost F150s and even Stage 1-type superchargers on 5.0L F150s without breaking a sweat. The Stage 1 10R80 transmission is also right at home in heavy towing applications, ripping it up out in the dirt or out on the trail with big tires, and even competing at the sled pull or drag strip. Our Stage 1 10R80 transmission can help you take your awesome F150 to the next level of performance and capability without letting you or your truck down. Each of our 10R80 Stage 1 transmissions are 100% complete and drop right into place of your F150's factory transmission without permanent modifications. The Tier One Stage 1 10R80 Transmission features a bunch of upgraded transmission components, as well as new and updated OEM components that allow the Stage 1 10R80 to handle impressive levels of horsepower and torque with the reliability you need in tough applications both on and off the road. Tier One builds each of our Stage 1 10R80 transmissions around a RatioTel Performance Trans Tuner Valve Body Kit that includes new springs and other hardware that generates fast and accurate shifting all while improving lubrication to components that can get under-oiled when put under high levels of load. We include a SunCoast Pro-Loc Torque Converter that features a billet stator that helps it hold more power and torque than the factory torque converter. We here at Tier One install performance GPZ clutches that feature a more aggressive friction material than stock to help the transmission hold all that extra power from powerful EcoBoost tuning or 5.0L supercharger systems. We use the lasted Ford OEM CDF Clutch hub with our Stage 1 transmissions, which features a revised design that includes a steppe outer assembly to prevent movement and possible bushing failures that can lead to major lubrication issues. We also include a new OEM P4 gear hub and new OE-style pump bushing to further improve reliability. Tier One also drills three small holes in the P3 carrier to help further improve oil flow to the P3 clutches without overly weakening the P3 carrier itself. We top off the Stage 1 10R80 transmission with a cast aluminum transmission pan that improves cooling and replaces the crack and leak-prone stock pan, as well as a new OEM filter.

All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 10R80 transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford F150 truck.
