The Tier One 5R110W Competition Transmission was specifically designed to handle up to 900 horsepower and tough track use, allowing you to throw big turbos, oversized injectors, custom exhaust systems, nitrous or water/meth systems, and whatever other bolt-on parts you'll need to have your 6.4L Powerstroke or Triton V10 dominating your opponents at the drag strip, sled pull, or dyno day without your transmission letting you down. The Tier One Competition 5R110W transmission is loaded down with a ton of high-strength transmission parts that can withstand the huge forces and load from high-powered competition trucks, all while still driving great with firm, but fast and accurate shifting. The Tier One Competition 5R110W Transmission features a ton of performance upgrades and extremely strong billet transmission components that can hold huge levels of power and handle the types of hard launches your truck is bound to see at the drag strip or sled pull. Tier One includes a billet, triple-disc torque converter with each Competition 5R110W Transmission that resists warping and cracking more effectively than stock while being able to hold a ton of power. The torque converter feeds into a billet AERMET steel input shaft that's even stronger than standard 300M billet shafts in order to reduce the chances of shearing or twisting when put under immense load. The Competition Transmission also comes with a billet intermediate shaft that can hold up under huge power and hard shifting. Tier One outfits the transmission with a billet steel low/reverse gear hub that can handle high levels of power and tough applications more effectively than stock. A billet steel planet carrier helps prevent both spline and planet failure under extremely high loads, letting you launch your Super Duty build with confidence. Tier One installs a thermal bypass kit to help improve cooling by allowing transmission fluid to flow into your truck's transmission cooler, regardless of actual temperature. Each Competition transmission gets outfitted with new transmission bushings to improve reliability. Tier One also include a pump vent leak prevention kit that helps you avoid the common 5R110W transmission issue of pump vent leaks and front-end whining noise. The Competition 5R110W Transmission features high-performance GPZ clutches with improved friction material over stock that prevents slip and provides firm, but solid shifting on high-powered trucks. The transmission gets a welded coast drum to help prevent failures at high power levels. Every Competition 5R110W transmission receives an ATS Filler Tube Kit that replaces the leak-prone stock filler tube with a two-piece billet aluminum design with built-in seals. Tier One throws in a deep, cast aluminum transmission pan that has increased fluid capacity over stock and provides additional cooling capability. The 5R110W Competition Transmission gets a performance valve body that can handle high line pressures and effectively routes fluid even under extremely high levels of load. The transmission is topped off with a Ford OEM wiring harness to help with reliability and compatibility with your Super Duty truck.

During Tier One’s build of your 5R110W Competition Transmission, we go over every inch of its internal components to guarantee you excellent functionality, great shifting, and awesome reliability. All parts and components are disassembled and cleaned from our OEM cores to ensure your new 5R110W transmission is free from contaminants and other debris. We carefully inspect your transmission’s planetary geartrain for damage before fully speccing all your bearings and washers for endplay. Tier One includes a new OEM wiring harness to help mitigate potential wiring issues. The included rebuild kit includes new seals, gaskets, and sealing rings to replace all the wearable parts of the transmission before it’s installed on your Ford Super Duty F250 or F350 truck.

To make sure you get a built 5R110W transmission that’s as tough as your truck, Tier One puts the valve bodies and entire assembled transmissions through rigorous testing to ensure you get the reliability you need for heavy towing and hauling applications with your 6.4L Powerstroke diesel. All valve body solenoids are carefully tested to ensure flawless operation. After assembly of the valve body, it goes through rigorous dyno-testing to ensure proper fluid flow, line pressures, and solenoid operation. After final assembly of the transmission itself, we put it through a complete air-check to find potential leaks before a final inspection and shipping out.

- 37" Tire: 4.10 gears or higher
