SunCoast 6L80E torque converters come in many varieties, from heavy hauling, sled pulling, drag racing, to daily driving. SunCoast designs and manufactures their torque converters in-house. Because of this, SunCoast can supply most any request in regards to stall or torque multiplication. All SunCoast triple disc converters are outfitted with a heavy duty forged billet steel cover and give an unbeatable lock up performance. The companys race series converter should be used in racing/pulling applications that require a higher stall RPM than a standard converter. Increased stall is usually needed in applications where a larger turbo or turbos have been installed and more RPM is required to get the turbo on boost while on the brakes (brake boosting).
This custom 258MM 10.2 inch 6L80E torque converter comes equipped with a new hardened Chromoly steel turbine for improved strength. Our extra thick forged billet apply piston ensures that there is zero deflection when applied so that it can withstand the most extreme applications.
This 6L80E torque converter also features a woven carbon fiber clutch plates to deliver maximum lockup capacity. The front cover on this new 6L80E torque converter also features a fully machined billet front cover that provides superior strength and durability.
The Suncoast 6L80E billet torque converter also features an upgraded sprag and impeller hub along with full torrington thrust bearing construction.
This torque converter is available in a variety of sizes and stall speeds depending on your needs.

For 5.3L & 6.2L V8 only: this torque converter will only fit LS-based 5.3L and 6.2L V8 trucks. It will not fit V6 Silverado or Sierra builds.
For 6L80E transmission only: this torque converter will only fit 6-speed 6L80E transmissions only. It will not fit 8-speed or 10-speed transmissions. Please verify your truck's transmission type before ordering.
Core charge: this torque converter carries with it a core charge. That core charge will be refunded back to you once SunCoast receives your stock converter, inspects it, and finds it acceptable.
