If your awesome Ram 5.9L Cummins is pushing out some serious levels of horsepower and torque, your 48RE transmission is going to need a valve body that can handle it all. The Tier One 48RE High Pressure Valve Body with Sonnax Servo for 2003-2007 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks features a whole suite of upgrades that not only allow it to handle far more power than stock, but also gives you firm, precise, and positive shifting so that your awesome Ram truck feels like an entirely new beast. The upgrades Tier One makes to their High Pressure valve body allow it to handle up to 750 horsepower and extremely tough applications both on and off the road. The Tier One High Pressure 48RE valve body with Sonnax Servo is perfect for trucks running bigger turbos, oversized injectors, upgraded exhaust systems, and aggressive tuning that need a valve body that can handle the strain. Tier One designed our 48RE High Pressure Valve Body from the ground up to get your truck fast, precise shifting and just enough power-holding to handle basic modifications and increased power levels. Tier One outfits every 48RE Valve Body with a TransGo shift kit that comes with new valves, springs, and plates that all help to ensure quick shifting while reducing the chances of common 48RE failures and improving clutch torque-holding capability. Tier One includes both a heavy-duty transducer and a new transducer harness to improve reliability. The HD Transducer is manufactured with a brass base instead of plastic, making it more capable of handling increased power and load. The HD governor included with each valve body is made out of steel instead of plastic to likewise improve its survivability under high loads and horsepower. Tier One rounds off valve body with a Sonnax servo provides extremely positive shifting and increases the shift timings between 1st and 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear. Every 48RE valve body is flat-sanded and its solenoids tested for better-than-OEM function. After final assembly, the valve body is tested on our in-house valve body dyno to ensure optimal function before it's shipped out.

Comes with Sonnax Servo: this version of Tier One's 48RE valve body comes with a Sonnax servo that holds more power with more positive shifting and longer 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear timing is also available. A version of this valve body with an
OEM servo that that keeps stock shift points and timing near-stock is also available.
For 2003-2007 Ram 2500 & 3500 Only: this valve body will only fit 2003-2007 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that came from the factory with a 48RE transmission.
