Heavy-Duty and High-Performance Valve Body built for High-Powered and High-Performance Applications
2003-2007 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that are going to hit absolutely massive horsepower and torque numbers are going to need a 48RE valve body that can handle it, as well as one that's going to deliver fast and firm shifting for track or dyno day use. The Tier One 48RE Race High-Pressure Valve Body was specifically designed to handle huge levels of power in tough track and competition environments. The Race 48RE Valve Body features stronger components than stock, as well as full reprogramming kit that helps the valve body operate at higher line pressures and under more load than stock without letting you or your Ram Cummins down. Tier One's Race Valve Body is rated to handle over 1000 horsepower, letting you go to town with your awesome Ram Cummins build and add parts like compound turbos, custom exhaust systems, nitrous or water-meth injection, and hyper-aggressive tuning so that your Ram can dominate its competition out at the track or down at the local dyno day.

Every Tier One Race High-Pressure Valve Body features a bunch of upgrades over stock so that it handles high horsepower and brutally tough racing and off-road applications without letting you or your Ram down. The Race Valve Body is built around a TransGo Reprogramming Kit that comes with new springs, hardened valves, heavy-duty plates, and extremely strong hardware that not only holds more power, but drastically changes how the transmission shifts and performs at extremely high power levels. Tier One also includes both a heavy-duty transducer and its required harness with each valve body. The HD transducer features a brass base that replaces the much weaker plastic transducer to help prevent failures at extremely high levels of power. We here at Tier One also throw in a heavy-duty governor that's made out of steel instead of plastic to further shore up the valve body in high-powered applications. We fit each Race Valve Body with a Sonnax Servo that handles more power than the stock servo while also giving your 48RE transmission more positive shifting and revised shift timings for the 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear shifts. Tier One tops the valve body off with a new OE-style solenoids and a new OE-style filter to help improve reliability. Every 48RE Race High-Pressure Valve Body is flat-sanded and its solenoids tested for better-than-OEM function. After final assembly, the valve body is tested on our in-house valve body dyno to ensure it's functioning reliably before we ship it out.

For 2003-2007 Ram 2500 & 3500 Only: this valve body will only fit 2003-2007 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that came from the factory with a 48RE transmission.
