Our 48RE Full Manual Valve Body not only handles huge levels of power and torque, it also converts your 48RE to full manual drive, allowing you to pair it with a standard manual shifter to get more control over your shifts and keep your 5.9L Cummins in its power band as you rip down the track or tear it up out on the trail. The Tier One 48RE Full Manual Valve Body can handle over 1000 horsepower and is the perfect choice for a dedicated track truck or fully built off-road rig that's ready to do some serious crawling. Features a TransGo Full Manual Reprogramming Kit, Manual Separator Plates, HD Transducer, HD Governor, Transducer Harness, OE-Style Solenoids, and New Filter
Tier One builds each of our Full Manual 48RE Valve Bodies using high-quality and high-strength parts that can handle tremendous levels of power and torque so that they can survive the most powerful truck builds in the toughest applications on the planet. The heart of the full manual 48RE valve body is a TransGo Full Manual Reprogramming Kit that comes with new springs and hardware so that the valve body is delivering constant levels of pressure and is ready to shift on your command. Likewise, Tier One includes new upper and lower manual separator plates that are designed to work in manual shift applications. We here at Tier One include an heavy-duty transducer with a brass base and a required transducer harness that has much greater strength than the factory plastic transducer. Tier One also installs a heavy-duty steel governor solenoid to replace the failure-prone plastic governor for more reliable operation. Each Full-Manual 48RE Valve Body is topped off with OE-style solenoids and a new OE-style filter to give you improved reliability. Every 48RE Full Manual Valve Body is flat-sanded and its solenoids tested for better-than-OEM function. After final assembly, the valve body is tested on our in-house valve body dyno to ensure it's functioning reliably before we ship it out.

Requires Manual Shifter: this valve body changes your 48RE transmission operation from automatic to full manual control. Your factory automatic shifter is NOT COMPATIBLE with this valve body, and you'll require a manual shifter for proper operation. Tier One recommends the
Precision Performance Qwik-Shift Shifter, though other shifters may work. Tier One also offers our own
manual shifter handle for use with the Qwik-Shift.
For 2003-2007 Ram 2500 & 3500 Only: this valve body will only fit 2003-2007 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that came from the factory with a 48RE transmission. A version of this valve body for older 47RE transmissions is also available. If you have a 2007.5 Ram built after July 2007 with a 6.7L Cummins, please check out our

Requires Core Charge: this valve body requires a $500 core charge which will be refunded back to you after Tier One receives your stock valve body.
